Difficulty

This is a post-graduate ‘practical’ seminar with a mixture of case consultation and intermediate instruction in Family Systems Theory and Practice. This seminar is for clinicians who wish to expand and enhance their understanding and utilization of “whole family therapy” in their clinical work. It is expected that most or all participants have a basic understanding of Family Systems Therapy as a therapeutic model. The didactic (recorded instruction) portion of the seminar will consist of six (6) 60-100 minute recorded instruction on whole family therapy by reviewing and discussing recorded family therapy sessions. Those who purchase this course are also entitled to six (6) clinical consultation sessions with Dr. Whitehead, to be scheduled individually.

Seminar Expectations

This seminar is a recorded webinar with case discussion and demonstration of recorded therapy sessions. Each participant is required to sign a confidentiality agreement (provided after registration is complete).

Payment Options

The cost of this seminar is $90/hour and all funds will be deposited into the Aspen Grove Family Therapy client scholarship account. This account is used both within the clinic and in select cases for outside providers to offset the cost of therapy for families and couples who have a financial hardship that could limit their utilization of couple or family therapy.

A refund of payments is not available unless the participant knows the family or individuals who have been recorded and must withdraw from the seminar due to ethical reasons (pro-rated refunds are offered depending on how much of the seminar is already completed). No other exceptions will be made.
